Lee Jong Suk (이종석, born 14 September 1989) is a South Korean model and actor.
Lee Jong Suk who's majoring in Professional Motion Pictures Art at South Korean Konkuk University, took part in a selection for actors at SBS TV station when he was still in the middle school. He participated in acting activities as one of the SBS 7th open recruiting actors.
In his modelling career, Lee Jong Suk became the youngest male model of the Seoul Collection program.[1]
In 2010, Lee acted in two South Korean TV series titled Prosecutor Princess and Secret Garden. Lee caught people's eyes with his tall, charming appearance as well as his natural acting abilities. His most successful and well-known role is musician Han Tae Sun from Secret Garden.
In 2011 September, Lee appeared in MBC's High Kick Season 3.[2][3]
After his first acting experience in the scary movie Ghosts, Jong Suk will star in the film Soar: Into the Sky (비상 [飛上]: 태양가까이 a.k.a. 레드 머플러) a.k.a. Red Muffler a.k.a. Soar: Close to the Sun as a main character in his first flight movie. He plays an important role with Rain appearing as part of a team of F-15K pilots. It is a remake of the original 1964 Korean Film Red Muffler/Scarf set during the Korean War.[4][5][6][7]
In 2012 he played Go NamSoon, a lost high school student, in the drama: School 2013. He received the best new actor award during the KBS Drama Awards for his role.
