Isn't she just...wow. Recommended - use the extension New Tab Reloaded, setting the values for the Number of Tiles and Tiles Per Row in the Most Visited section and/or the Apps per Row in the Apps Page section to 0. That'll remove any obstructions from your view of the background ;)
