A modification of Google's "Earthy" theme. Removed fade/bevel effect and darkened text to be easier on the eyes. Also darkened a couple other colors slightly. Picture featured is of Mount Rainier, located in Washington, USA.
I do not know if there is a way to remove the white border connecting to Chrome's web store bar on the bottom of the apps page. I have fiddled with it a few times and it doesn't seem to remove any borders for me. I am sorry if that displeases you, I personally use Infinity New Tab, and I recommend you do the same, or use Awesome New Tab Page. This will remove the border, as well as give you a high degree of shortcut/app customization, and it also lets you upload your own backgrounds. You can find this one pretty quickly through Google.
