The third season of Sword art Online, called Sword Art Online: Alicization, is an adaptation to anime series of light novels of the same name written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by Abec. It is produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Manabu Ono. It covers the Arc Alicization and adapts from the ninth volume of the novel Alicization Beginning to the eighteenth volume Alicization Lasting. The series premiered on October 6, 20182 with a one-hour long episode broadcast in Japan, the United States, Mexico, Australia, France, Germany, Russia and South Korea.3 Four cours or programming blocks will be broadcast also called sub-arcs, totaling around 50 episodes. The opening theme of Begining is Adamas by LiSA and its closing theme is "Iris" (ア イ リ ス?) By Eir Aoi.The opening theme of Rising is Asca's "Resister" and its closing theme is "Forget-me" -not "by ReoNa. The music is composed by Yuki Kajiura.
