A theme based upon Imperial Germany of 1871-1918.
Imperial Germany played host to many great men, including chancellor Otto von Bismarck, Erich Ludendorff, a veteran of war, Emperor Frederick III, and Paul von Hindenburg, a major voice in high-command. The Kaiserreich is also explicitly noted for advances in all fields, mainly Industry, Navy, and Science. As of 1871, it was considered second only to the Royal Navy of Britain in naval power. And shortly thereafter, it earned more Nobel Prizes in science than Britain, France, Russia and the United States combined. It repaired the damage caused by the decline of the Holy Roman Empire, and had modernized the whole of the German nation. In its 47 years of existence, Imperial Germany had grown from a rural, farming country to an industrialized nation; a great power in Europe.
Before its defeat, and the subsequent stagnation of greater Deutschland in the Weimar Republic, Imperial Germany was marked by key social and technological advances, and saw many courageous leaders of men, fighting in the field for the glory of the Kaiserreich.
