I was away for a while. This one is dedicated to my Grandmother Ruth. To those who did not know her, you missed out on the blessing to meet her! It is tough to stay positive when your grandmother passes away and then to hold the service on Mothers Day. Though one may think that holding that service on that day was symbolic to who she was as a person. She is a person that each time that you visit, you always wanted to spend more time with her. She kept us fed and wanted to ensure our education was secure even if nobody asked for it, she will surprise you with small gestures and memories that make each encounter more valuable. She was a very good teacher but transitioned before we came around, but she inspired many young children. She never asked for much except please pick up after yourself and get along and was very patient with us grandchildren. On the bottom of her celebration of life card, it says: "Friend's so wishing may make donations in Ruth's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation." May the lessons and memories carry on and inspire more to be like you! Connect with me by visiting my website at 4neonfun.xyz
