Let's enjoy the amazing islands of Canary!
The Canary Islands are an autonomous community of Spain, consisting of seven islands in the Atlantic Ocean, close to North Africa. They have mild temperatures, sunshine, volcanoes, forests, cliffs, and beaches. Some of the islands are Biosphere Reserves and national parks. The name Islas Canarias is likely derived from the Latin name Canariae Insulae, meaning "Islands of the Dogs", a name that was evidently generalized from the ancient name of one of these islands, Canaria – presumably Gran Canaria.
