After the launch of the new Corvette Z06, Chevy are releasing a customer racing car based on it that meets GT3 regulations. Replacing the C8.R, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R will still use it’s aluminum chassis and 5.5L flat-plane crank naturally aspirated V8 engine. It will be strictly for track use only and ready to be entered into any FIA GT3 race event.
